We are very proud of our school and the achievements of its students and staff. Our school exists to promote learning for everyone who uses our site and we have worked hard to become experts in learning. Our work on “Learning to Learn” has attracted considerable interest.

In January this year we were successful with our bid to become a specialist Science school. We are already a Training School and a member of the Leading Edge Partnership of schools. Matthew Moss also runs an accredited Teacher Training Partnership.

Our school site has benefited from over £2 million invested in new building and refurbishment over the last two years. This includes a new sports hall, which is also open to the wider community. Rochdale has also been successful in bidding into the “Building Schools for the Future” fund and will be getting over £150 million. Matthew Moss is due to have significant investment in ICT and the premises from the first investment of this money.

We are now recruiting for two key positions in our English and Technology faculties. This is an exciting school, which is self confident and ambitious for its future. If you share these qualities, we look forward to hearing from you.
