We are a vibrant, forward thinking community located in Grimsby, not far from the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds and countryside.

At Hereford Technology School we are committed to providing our students with a vast range of opportunities in order to prepare them for later life. We provide a safe and caring environment in which every student’s individual needs are considered and we strive for all our students to achieve their potential whatever their ability. As our logo states we believe in “success through effort”.

Our highly qualified and dedicated staff, along with our personalised curriculum, provide our students with stimulating and challenging learning experiences. Having high expectations for ourselves and every student has resulted in us being in the Specialist School and Academies trust’s “most improved school club” for each of 2006, 2007 and 2008 and for 6 out of the last 10 years.

Our technology specialism has enabled us to provide students with extra facilities that serve to enhance learning further and aim to highlight the importance of technology within the society we live in.

There has never been a more exciting time to be at Hereford Technology School. In 2010 we will have an impressive brand new school with 21st century cutting edge facilities making Hereford Technology School one of the most modern schools in the country. Students will continue to be at the heart of the new school and there will be an increased emphasis on the wider community and town as a whole. Learning will take place anywhere within the school with opportunities for outdoor learning using areas such as an amphitheatre and a sensory garden. The new school will place us at the forefront of the transformational learning agenda of North East Lincolnshire.

Our young people are lively, confident and have a great deal to say for themselves! We see these attributes as positive characteristics to be built on and have a positive and creative approach to nurturing the learning needs of all our young people.
