Training
Gordon Ramsay Training offers a centre for employees only to gain a more in depth knowledge and appreciation of their jobs by completing a number of courses. We have a dedicated training room for our employees that can accommodate 16 trainees for off job training, examples of the courses held are as follows:
- Food hygiene
- Health & Safety
- Restaurant skills/knowledge
- Management Training
- Guest Service
- Wine Knowledge
The overall aim of the Training Centre is to motivate and develop our staff. Gordon Ramsay restaurants are committed to providing the highest quality training to all employees. The training department works collaboratively within the restaurants for the benefit of each employee, the team and guests by enhancing the skills and capabilities of every individual with the aim of continuous development.
The Training Centre is an accredited centre with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health. Employees complete workbooks, training packs and receive certification on completing all statutory courses.
In-house training is carried out within the restaurants and is supported by various up-skilling programmes aimed at the principle job roles providing extensive knowledge to strengthen the highest level of service while identifying future training needs.
All chefs are trained primarily within the kitchens and supported by off job training where necessary.
