Fenchurch Retail Cardiff

Hey!

I have worked in the fenchurch store for just over a year now. i am enjoying myself. The fact that the store is so small, and the flagship one for a new company in the process of expanding, has given me the unique oppurtunity to experience far more than if I was to work in a large, well established company (such as topshop). To me, the chance to learn how to do things which in larger company's i would have to wait until management, is really interesting. I am constantly being challenged, and therefore am never bored. We do work differently from other stores, as we are intensley trained how to fold, on customer service and knowing our product very well.

Overall it is a nice atmosphere and the people I work with have ended up being close friends.
the transition from a year ago to now is pretty drastic, and this is all to do with the Fenchurch training way.

Hi.

At Fenchurch our main concern is good customer service. We offer a friendly approach, taking into consideration the customers particular needs; whether it be searching for an outfit for a special occasion, hunting for a gift or just casually browsing. Attention to detail is key and we pride ourselves on the neat and uniform layout of our store, that we feel sets up apart from many other retail outlets. Being a smaller store, we have a very close team that works efficiently and provides for a stonger working environment.

Since starting work in the Fenchuch store many of my skills have improved, from basic folding techniques to displaying clothes in the most appealing manner. The smaller store has given me the chance to take on responsibilities that I was unable to be involved with, in my previous retail jobs. I am given the opportunity to help with mechandising the shop and training new members of staff. My opinion, like the opinions of all staff members, can be put forward to management as suggestions for how the store can improve and move forward.

The setting of our store, within the Covent Garden Seven Dials area, means that we have a constant flow of customers from a diverse range of countries, and of a variety of ages. This sets an ever-challenging atmosphere, that continues to be interesting and updates with the moving fashions.

About Cardiff

Cardiff is a city of surprises which is probably why it's fast becoming one of the UK's most popular visitor destinations. It's already well known for its sporting, artistic and maritime traditions, but we're delighted that more and more people are discovering everything else we've got to offer. Cardiff boasts all the attractions, cultural and leisure facilities that you would expect in a modern capital city - and it's all so easily accessible. In the centre of the city you'll find brilliant shopping along with the Millennium Stadium and acres of lush parkland.

As well as offering a whole host of things to see and do within the city, Cardiff makes a great base for visiting the rest of South Wales.

Good road links across the region mean that visitors can combine a stimulating city break with the rural scenery on Cardiff's doorstep.

Those of us who live in Cardiff know how lucky we are and we love sharing our beautiful city with our visitors.

Most people who have been here recently tell us the friendly locals have helped make their visit extra special. It's time to come and find out for yourself.
