EGA is centered in the vibrant and cosmopolitan area of Angel, North London. We are also a stones throw away from King’s Cross one of London’s most newly regenerated areas – the area has just completed a £550m redevelopment project.
The London Borough of Islington is a dynamic and exciting place to be. Upmarket, thriving, rich in culture and targeted by city workers and creative types for years, Islington’s popularity stems from the fact that it is so close to the City you could even run there in 20 minutes. It is now one of the capital’s most fashionable places to live with trendy bars, boutiques, shops, restaurants and nightlife.
On the doorstep of many famous international attractions that Central London has to offer, we take full advantage of this valuable resource. Visits to museums, galleries, theatres and historic sites are embedded in our schemes of work. Students have been involved in curating art exhibitions, preparing exhibits in The Science Museum and have performed on stage at a host of prestigious locations including Sadlers Wells, The Almeida Theatre and The Barbican.
With excellent transport links to EGA, our staff can live and travel from many locations within Central, Greater and Outer London in under an hour.
The Eurostar at St Pancras Station connects London with mainland Europe for weekends away. Also from 2018 the area will be fully served by the new Crossrail which will provide a high-frequency commuter passenger service linking parts of Berkshire and Buckinghamshire, via central London, to Essex and South East London.
As you can see there is much appeal from either working or living in our beautiful area.
