Crawley is a great place to live and work. Situated halfway between London and Brighton, Crawley is at the heart of the Gatwick Diamond, one of the most dynamic regions in the country. It offers all the energy and excitement of an urban area set alongside the beautiful countryside and coastal regions of West Sussex.
The town has a long history but its most radical growth came with its designation as a New Town in 1947. Since then its population has grown from 9,000 to 99,000 in 50 years. With further planned growth, Crawley will be home to more than 110,000 in just a few years.
Crawley can boast some of the best leisure facilities in the South East. K2 Crawley, the new state-of-the-art leisure centre, a golf course, a theatre and a major leisure park, with a planned major retail development. And it’s a green town, it has a host of parks and managed open spaces, including Tilgate Park which attracts more than a million visitors each year.
