Message from the Principal

Thank you for your interest in the post of Director of Resources (Facilities, Estates & IT) at Chesterfield College. We are seeking to appoint an outstanding individual in this role.

Chesterfield College is a general FE College with an annual turnover of £30 million. We are proud of our successes and our reputation as a ‘Good’ college, which was endorsed by Ofsted in April 2008. However, we believe that we can achieve more and following my appointment in July 2008, a new senior management structure has been recruited comprising of two Deputy Principals, a Director of Business Enterprise, Director of Finance and Director of Human Resources. The Director of Resources will contribute to the strategic direction and leadership of the College. As part of the senior leadership team they will provide sound property, facilities and ICT advice and direction to ensure that we provide the facilities and infrastructure our learners expect. The College’s financial health is outstanding, enabling the Corporation to consider the necessary investments required to equip the college to meet the needs of our learners in the future.
