Being part of a school for challenging pupils is very demanding – but there is no job that is more fulfilling or satisfying.
The children are extremely demanding with many complex needs. Creating a safe place for them and others is our first priority. Yes – many of the children have had to cope with awful experiences and they did not deserve this start in life, but this does not give them or us the excuse to give up hope. We are a school and expect children to learn.
I hope you have the passion this job demands, the toughness of spirit such commitment needs and above all a love for these children – even though their behaviour may be far from loveable.
