Liverpool employers are experiencing a shortage of building estimators, says Hays Construction, the leading recruiting expert. Professionals with more than ten years experience of design and build, frame work contracts, Conquest software and retail experience such as costing of fast track fit outs are highly sought after. This demand is due an increase in retail refurbishment, social housing and councils projects.
Tamsin Marlowe, Manager at Hays Construction, comments: ""The latest unemployment figures show that full-time employment fell by 113,000 to 21.2 million, while part-time employment did not rise fast enough to compensate. It is therefore very promising that there is still demand for building estimators in the region. Individuals with relevant experience and qualifications that are interested in applying should speak with one of our consultants who are able to provide expert career advice."
