As a forward-thinking organisation, Evergreen Garden Care is looking for a permanent, ambitious Reward & Benefit Specialist to join their People and Culture team in this very exciting opportunity. This role will report directly to the Group People & Culture Director and the successful individual will enjoy a hybrid way of working, with an office in Frimley, Surrey.
Your new role
As a key specialist you will have full ownership and responsibility for all things reward and benefits. There are huge possibilities as to where this role can go - currently there are 280 employees in the UK and there is the potential to get involved in the international business too for the right candidate.
This role is critical within the People & Culture team, playing a key role in the design and delivery of their reward and recognition strategies across Evergreen Garden Care to attract, motivate and retain top talent across the UK organisation. It will be accountable for the monthly and annual payroll cycle, (Evergreen plan to transition to a fully outsourced model but in the interim it will mean running and consolidating the monthly payroll with ADP) the annual compensation process, ensuring that colleagues are paid accurately and on time, and using strong analytical skills to identify trends and provide insights and recommendations for improvements to their compensation practices.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a curious, aspiring, and motivated individual, with an ownership mindset and highly passionate about reward and benefits, able to make an impact and steer this specialist area within the business. Coupled with a proactive mindset with a continuous improvement orientation, constantly looking for new and better practices. It is important that you have previous experience gained within reward and benefits, have previously managed payroll or an outsourced solution with advanced Excel skills.
