Your new role as Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
All eyes are on you and your shift partner to ensure asset availability and, ultimately, production output success. You'll be accountable for installation and maintenance of assets across site(s), which consist of fast-moving manufacturing machinery. You'll be accountable for PLCs (Allen Bradley, amongst others) in addition to other electrical equipment and components.

Your priorities as the newly appointed Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
• Troubleshoots PPMs- Performs preventative maintenance
• Reactive maintenance to breakdowns
• Proactively identify and resolve electrical problems
• Diagnose Root Cause of malfunctions and resolutions, via programmable logic controls
• Responsible for facility power distribution and lighting services. Wire, assemble, and layout electrical/electronic systems, will fall under your remit too, inclusive of updating wiring schematics and computer program documentation.
• Follow and suggest improvements to SOPs

To electrify your career, you will have first-class electrical competence, including:
• Extensive experience of delivering electrical maintenance to assets and machines, ideally within a fast-moving manufacturing environments
• Formal qualifications in electrical engineering such as apprenticeship, HNC/HND, degree etc
• Working knowledge of the following areas: PLCs, solid state circuitry, electronics, electrical-mechanical devices, transmission systems, interface units, AC/DC motors, wiring diagrams and schematics, computers and inspection and digital devices
• The correct right to work in the UK, without restrictions and being fluent in English is essential for this position

• Shift pattern: Continental with set rotational days off: 4 on (2 Days/ 2 Nights), 4 off, 7th rotation, 18 days off.
