Graduate Electrical Engineer to join leading employer in Newry

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for electrical engineering? Look no further! Our Newry-based water processing company is seeking a talented Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to cutting-edge solutions in water treatment technology.


Your new role

In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare detailed specifications and scope of work for various electrical equipment, including water treatment pumps, blowers, power generators, MCCs, transformers, and instrumentation. Your attention to detail will shine as you create clear and concise electrical power and control cable interconnection block diagrams. Additionally, you’ll conduct essential design calculations, review electrical layout drawings, and develop instrument schematics and loop drawings.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed, you’ll need an Electrical Engineering degree (achieved or in progress) and a solid understanding of power transmission, low voltage distribution systems, and electrical wiring installations. Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA/Telemetry Systems, and NEC contract conditions will be advantageous.
