The Role: Keeping the plant running and reliable, whilst working alongside a talented team of engineers and operators, following site procedures and maintenance strategies to ensure maximum asset availability and production outputs.
Key Accountabilities
- Fault diagnosis
- Routine maintenance
- Ensure quality, health, safety and environmental policies and procedures are adhered to and maintained
- Troubleshoot and provide outcomes to maintenance and engineering issues. Schedule and update works via CMMS
- Manage contracts and supervision of contractors.
- Work to and deliver maintenance strategies and procedures.
About you:
- You will hold formal engineering qualifications, HNC or equivalent in a related mechanical discipline or similar, preferably craft apprenticeship trained.
- Experience of mechanical maintenance, planning and performing routine and breakdown maintenance, on process plant and equipment.
- Ideally, you will have exposure to heavy industry, chemical processes, oil & gas and/ or power generation environments and their associated assets.
- Demonstrate your ability to work towards safety, environmental and operational policies, frameworks, and statutory legislation
- You will hold the correct right to work in the UK, without restriction.
