SHP IOSH Awards 2008 – winners announced
The winners were announced at a glittering awards ceremony, which took place on 8th October at the Hilton Hotel in London. Demonstrating our integral role and commitment to investing in the future of the industry, Hays Health & Safety is pleased to sponsor the New Entrant of the Year category.
The winner of the New Entrant of the Year Award 2008 is:
Chris Hall from Skanska
All entrants for the New Entrant of the Year category must have started their career in the sector after January 2006 and had to demonstrate their commitment to the profession and exceptional achievement in their role. The finalists were:
- Frank Carrano, health and safety presenter, Accident Safety Awareness Presentations
- Joanne Doherty, designated safety advisor, Clancy Docwra
- Chris Hall, trainee health and safety advisor, Skanska
- Matthew Hall, health and safety advisor, Marine Biological Association
- Martin McDonough, health and safety manager, Galldris Construction Limited
