Our approach

Whenever there is a need for an interim candidate, we work with the local authority and governors to understand the specific requirements of the role and develop a profile of the person who will deliver the greatest impact. We then search for the most suitable candidates and provide you with a shortlist within an agreed timescale. We act with discretion at all times, as we recognise that these are often sensitive situations.

The process

Using a range of innovative candidate attraction techniques, we maintain a consistent database of high quality interim leadership professionals. These techniques include networking events, relationships with schools and leadership teams, web based advertising, recommendation incentives as well as search and selection. We also adopt a forward thinking approach to succession planning with candidates nearing retirement. All our interim candidates undertake a criteria and competency-based, face-to-face interview in order to ascertain their key leadership skills and experience. This information is crucial when matching the key areas of focus during the interim contract.
