Supporting Early Years Education
With the commitment to Every Child Matters including Birth to three, the Children’s Plan and the two year review and the 10-year strategy of ‘Choice for parents, the best start for children’, the importance of experienced early years specialists will continue to grow. Our expert consultants understand the unique challenges of this sector and will help you meet these and other obligations.
We provide a range of staff to cover the variety of roles within a children’s centre, from crèche workers to managers. In addition to this, we also work with children’s centres to recruit outreach workers and community nursery nurses to support the wider objectives of the centre. All our staff have comprehensive training working with 0-5 year olds, and where required, specific training supporting children with SEN.
Specialist early years trained staff provide support to children in the EYFS who require additional assistance, due to a special need or learning difficulty such as speech and language, visual, hearing and physical impairments. These individuals may use Makaton, PECS & BSL and can support a child’s development by creating individual learning plans in accordance to each child’s interest and requirement.
Early years foundation stage and professional status
We recruit qualified nursery nurses and early years educators to work within the EYFS in schools, children’s centres and day nurseries. They support the planning and delivery of the EYFS and monitor a child’s development through regular observations and report writing. Candidates with EYPS are currently being recruited by children’s centres to enhance the service and knowledge within each centre, improving the practice and raising the standards of the early years’ provision within each setting.
Birth to three matters
These are qualified early years workers with specific experience, working with children under three within day nurseries and children’s centres. These candidates have strong communication skills as regular contact between setting and home is encouraged to ensure a consistent approach for the child.
In addition to our standard recruitment service, we offer a range of dedicated early years services reflecting our commitment to the industry.
Supporting young professionals entering early years
Young professionals entering the industry need support and inspiration to develop their skills and express their talents. We offer career guidance and interview technique workshops for colleges, offering level 2 and 3 childcare qualifications across the UK. Recognising this talent and dedication, we also sponsor many early years students of the year awards across the UK.
With the focus on developing a collaborative approach across multi-agency working, we have developed a number of partnerships across early years and early intervention work. We are the preferred supplier of temporary education, health & social care and administrative staff for SCOPE, Barnados and Action for Children.
We also work across the UK with individual LAs and London boroughs, offering a preferred supplier service for the temporary recruitment for their early years, childcare and play strategies.
The right reward for such an important role is crucial. With so many differentials in the industry, it’s imperative that early years providers get the right advice and guidance to attract, recruit and retain talent. That’s why we conduct national salary surveys on pay, conditions and benefits offered in the industry.
