I am currently working with a motivated and driven Senior Marketing Executive who has experience creating, implementing and delivering campaigns to B2B, Public Sector and Corporate audience. Working in a fast paced environment, he is responsible for content creation and marketing across the sectors as well as using a full complement of content and digital marketing techniques to create relevant content and delivering to customers via email, social media and events to nurture qualified leads for the Sales team.
Senior Marketing Executive
•Involved in the campaign process from start to finish. The campaigns are generally content lead through digital channels.
•Working with stakeholder across the business in the initial campaign creation stages to scope out the objectives, audience and realistic targets. This information is then used to formulate ideas of types of content that will suit the project then create a brief and plan (Gantt Chart) to discuss with the Head of Marketing, where budgets and deadlines are set.
•Responsible for the content which includes: writing copy for articles, blogs, emails, and social media, briefing creative and copywriting agencies (where appropriate) for other campaign collateral, updating and creating new page on the website using WordPress CMS.
•Work alongside the email coordinator to, segment data, agree dates and times and set automation workflows.
•A/B test the subject lines to increase open rates. As well as email, Social Media channels (LinkedIn and Twitter) are used to promote the campaign, this is done through a scheduling tool, Hootsuite.
•Plan for the social media campaign to run throughout the duration of the full campaign with bursts of activity to coincide with the sending of emails and/or publication of content.
•Monitor the analytics of emails, social posts and page visits to allow for alterations to the campaign, such as a different style of email subject line (for instance from a short statement to a question). This also allows me to report back on how the campaign is running to the stakeholders.
•Other duties include: creating PowerPoint presentations for Senior management and the Sales Team, managing the website, creating email and page banners, publishing internal marketing communications using our company Social Enterprise Network and other ad-hoc requests that come in.
