An absolutely fantastic candidate, she has ten years experience working at a leading online booking agency, specialising in serviced apartments for business accommodation solutions.

The business has two main head offices, one in London and the other in Lancaster, the business is also due to open an office in Singapore. The candidate has worked her way up in numerous roles within the business, which led her in 2010 into the position of “Partner Relations Team Manager”. In this role the candidate has excelled and has really driven the business forward. Her wins have included expanding their client portfolio by 30% over 200 suppliers across one year, implementing a training programme, re-structuring the business, developing future objectives and presented forecasts resulting in business growth, implementing a people focused approach to the company culture as well as implementing and testing an in house system that has resulted in the reduction of manual processing by almost 40%.

She explained to me in vast detail how her role was heavily structured around business development and securing new business and contracts, as well as nurturing business relationships. She is also a true believer in a positive company culture and describes herself to be a people manager and truly cares about creating a workplace that encourages her team members to get out of bed in the morning.

The candidate is presently on maternity leave, due to return back to the business in September under a newly promoted title, “Head of Partner Relations”. During the candidate’s maternity leave, the business was taken over very unexpectedly and has resulted in mass changes within the business, and has included changes to the candidate’s role and working pattern. Although she has been offered a promotion contract to return to, there are parts of the contract that she is un willing to agree to, one of the points includes working in London at least two days a week to manage the operations of the London based office in Chiswick.

The candidate is seeking a new opportunity that best fits her work life balance and would make a move for the right position, ideally in the Lancaster area.
