A talented project professional with a Masters in Comparative Politics from LSE, Prince2 certified and 5 years post graduate experience in the not for profit and government sectors.
They initially gained experience working with a consulting firm in Colombia, where they worked as part of a project team responsible for the administration restructure of 3 government organisations in the judicial system. This required them to use research and analysis skills to review current structures, processes and procedures and then identify where cost could be reduced and efficiency improved.
Following a move to the UK to study at LSE, they secured a role with a progressive not for profit which works with the UN in post conflict societies, with the aim of educating youth to promote positive change in a social, economic and political context. This role has seen them devise an international programme of work; involving researching and building a network of NGOs and Youth organisations through which to reach schools in Africa, promote campaign tools and resources to the NGOs and capacity build in those organisations to take ownership of this worldwide initiative.
They have developed strong relationship management, project and communication skills in this highly challenging and diverse role. They are adept at running projects from conception to inception and are passionate about working with organisations focussed on international development, child welfare and education.
