Seanna is a Newly Qualified teacher, having just qualified with a Primary PGCE with Mathematics as a specialism from Liverpool John Moores University. During her studies Seanna was placed in a mixed Year 4/5 class, a Year 2 class and a Year 6 class.
Due to relocation, Seanna is currently seeking a KS2 class teacher role within South London. She is available to start in September and able to interview immediately.
Seanna’s main teaching placement took place at an OFSTED Good school which was situated in a disadvantaged area of Liverpool, around 60% of the pupil demographic are entitled to free school meals. There was also a high level of SEN. Seanna gained experience of working with pupils with ASD, ADHD, BESD, Dyslexia and Downs Syndrome.
Seanna is keen to get involved in wider school life. She ran a KS1 lunchtime Dance club, she also organised and ran a Maths challenge which involved local schools as well as her own.
Seanna has a strong work ethic. She is motivated to create a safe and purposeful learning environment where all pupils feel valued and motivated to reach their full potential, irrespective of their abilities and socio-economic backgrounds. She is very keen to develop supportive relationships with her pupils, their parents/ carers and other colleagues with the aim of promoting a love of learning, pupils’ independence and self-esteem.
