This candidate has recently qualified as CIPD Level 7 and is seeking a role which will enable them to utilise this experience fully – in a generalist HR Advisor position or similar role. Their early exposure involved a great deal of recruitment duties and they have worked in both agency roles (for an Educational recruiter) and on site as a client account manager, and discussed at interview how they particularly enjoyed the on-boarding process and the candidate contact to ensure that the process from start to end was a smooth transition for everyone concerned.
Duties have encompassed:
Implementing employment law to advise managers
Advise on the revision of job descriptions and person specifications and support and develop recruitment campaigns
Manage the recruitment and induction process
Reviewing weekly and monthly absence data, highlighting trends and supporting the business
Liaising with payroll, advising on starters/leavers/salary deductions/overtime payments and ad-hoc staff
