Emma is a qualified teacher with UK QTS and a Graduate Diploma in Primary Education from Australia. Since qualifying she has gained experience working in both the state and private education sectors. She also has international teaching experience working with EAL pupils in Singapore. Emma is passionate about seeing pupils develop academically and socially in a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
Prior to studying in Australia, Emma taught at an English Language school in Singapore for a year. On completion of her Graduate Diploma in Primary Education in December 2014, Emma began teaching in Sydney from January 2015. She initially taught on a supply basis for 1 term, she was then offered a full time role as a Reception teacher on a temporary contract from April 2015 to December 2015.
It was clear in Emma’s interview that she is a passionate, enthusiastic, and resourceful teacher who is keen to develop her career. She is happy to contribute to all aspects of school life, including extra-curricular activities. There is no doubt that Emma will excel in any teaching position that she is placed in.
Emma is now looking to move back permanently to the UK at the end of December 2016 and would like to have a teaching position ready to start in January 2017. .
Emma is seeking a long term role in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 and would consider a contract for 2 terms from January 2017 until July 2017. She has dual citizenship and is eligible to work in the UK.
