This is an articulate and polite candidate who has been placed with Hays before, with a wealth of committee administration and company secretarial and public sector experience.
Throughout their career, this candidate has obtained experience in a variety of roles within not-for-profit organisations and health and regulatory departments, which have all contributed to their desire to work within regulatory frameworks. They have a great understanding of a vast array of legislation, policies and procedures which has thus enabled them to foster both professional working principles and build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Having previously worked within relatively similar roles which have involved corporate governance, case management and committee administration, my candidate has had the opportunity of assisting departments with annual recruitment processes and appraisals for Committee members, supporting Trustees in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities through helping to devise Trustee inductions and ongoing training, and, providing a highly organised approach to committee management.
As a Committee Secretary, this candidate has provided an efficient secretariat to Board, Councils, Committees and Working Groups. They have been responsible for organising meetings, preparing agendas, circulating papers, taking minutes, quality assuring documents and report writing, whilst also developing a meticulous attention to detail.
