Our expert opinion

Callum is a very sociable and personable individual who is seeking a new role within Sales and Administration. His most recent position was working for a market leader Rijo 42 as an Internal Business Development Manager. His role was essentially to generate business and book appointments by chasing cold leads and then passing those leads on to the External Business Development Managers who would then pitch for the contract. Although Callum has been at the business since September 2014 and has enjoyed the role, he has now decided that he would prefer a position that gives him more range in regards to day to day duties.

During our interview it became apparent to me that Callum is a people person who is ideally suited to a role that allows him to engage others through all communication streams, not just over the telephone and to ultimately build relationships. He comes in to his own when working in a team and would flourish in a role that revolves more around customer service other than just hitting sales targets.

Callum isn’t originally from the area, he moved here to study History at the University, and he then met his partner here who manages a local bar and restaurant. They have just bought a house together in the centre and are now building a life together in Lancaster.


He is immediately available for interview and is ideally seeking a permanent position within a team environment, ideally in customer service and administration, as all of his previous roles have included elements of both.

• A levels from Stamford School History A, Biology C, English Literature C
