My candidate, an excellent communicator who is highly motivated and articulated, is now looking for his second position within the actuarial market where he can specialise.
Most recently he as been working as an Actuarial Support Analyst where he analysed data and statistical modelling in order to calculate the probability of costs associated with certain events, including property damage, injury and death. He was also in charge of presenting opportunities to the CEO about cost reduction methods so as to ensure that the cost of premiums could remain low. Prior to this he had a part time position working for a smaller insurance company, advising clients about potential life insurance policies, general insurance policies and possible adequacy of existing pension schemes. He also assessed, managed and administered a portfolio of important policyholders and provided technical training to new members of staff.
He also has an excellent academic track record, having achieved outstanding results across the board in his Greek A levels. He also recently graduated with a Distinction in Actuarial Science (MSc) and would consider himself proficient in Excel with further experience of statistics programmes such as SPSS, Mathematica, MATLAB and SAS to name but a few.
He is now looking to establish himself within an actuarial position as soon as possible and progress quickly with the actuarial examinations. For more information on this candidate, please contact me directly.
